Technical Sales Specialist Stora Enso is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Project & Technical Sales Team. Your location will be in one of our mills - in Bad St. Leonhard or Ybbs an der Donau, Austria or Home office in Germany and you will be working in Wood Products Division. Stora Enso is a leading global provider of renewable solutions based on wood and biomass for a range of industries and applications worldwide, leading in the bioeconomy and supporting our customers in meeting demand for renewable eco-friendly products. Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. We also offer a variety of sawn timber goods. Our customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers. Career for a better climate. Every day. You will be responsible for elaborating requests for quotation and providing professional technical advice for mass timber buildings. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will report directly to the Project & Technical Sales Team Leader. You will belong to a team with members located in different locations across Europe Technical Sales Specialist is the key point of contact for our business development managers, sales managers and customers, answering queries, providing technical advice, and preparing quantity take-offs as the basis for new offers. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Understanding the customer needs based on drawings, sketches and/or other relevant project information * Following the pre-defined processes for Building Solution offers and cost estimations * Providing pre-sales support to sales managers, business developers and customers by creating: scheme designs, preliminary structural calculations, 3D CAD models, quantity take-offs, and basic feasibility studies * Using specific pricing tools to calculate prices for value-added products (e.g. CLT rib panels) * Maintaining and updating data in the CRM system to enable offer management and follow-up * Providing the best technical advice on building components per application based on drawings and/or other information provided by customers * Implementing offer information to Stora Enso Wood Products ERP system (WPS) for offer creation and to allow for data processing by other departments * Reporting of time required for request elaboration Requirements for applicants: * High school diploma or university degree in civil engineering or similar * Previous working experience in timber construction is a plus * Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Cadwork etc.) * Language skills: fluent German and English * Proactive personality with a customer-focused attitude * The ability to analyse customer information and to find suitable solutions * Very strong communication skills * A team player with strong interpersonal skills What we offer: * Become part of an international, customer-oriented, friendly and dynamic team * Varied, interesting area of responsibility * Regular, needs-oriented training and further education * Structured onboarding * Flexible working time models - possibility of working from home up to 50% of working time For Austria: * Our attractive salary package is based on your qualifications, professional experience and market value and includes a variable component on top * Depending on your specific qualification and professional experience, we offer an annual gross salary starting at EUR 48.370,00.
