Position Overview:
The company are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in signal processing and RF design, coupled with substantial experience in FPGA development.
A solid understanding of embedded software, particularly embedded Linux, is also highly desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a collaborative and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions for signal processing and RF applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.
- Develop and integrate embedded software, including drivers and application code, on FPGA platforms.
- Work with embedded Linux, including kernel module development and system integration.
- Perform system-level debugging and verification of FPGA designs.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Extensive experience in FPGA design and development, with experience on signal processing and RF design.
- Proficient in HDL languages such as VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis or Intel Quartus.
- Knowledge of embedded software development, including C/C++ and embedded Linux.
- Some understanding of Python also desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with high-speed digital design and interface protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of DSP algorithms and their implementation on FPGA.
- Familiarity with RF transceiver design and implementation.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
