About the role

We are seeking a person with a confident, empathetic and flexible leadership style, who aspires to join a company where they can develop their career long term through business growth. 

Drawing from your years of advisory experience, tax expertise and leadership skills, you will help lead a small & experienced team of staff in the delivery of Accounting, Taxation & Advisory services to both business and individual clients.

The Senior Accountants within the leadership team will be invested in the achievement of your goals, with the view to help you to become an equity stake owner should this option be of interest to you. Initially focusing upon transitioning and retention of current client relationships, long term you will be pivotal to driving new opportunities for business growth.

Skills and Experience 

Candidates with the following demonstrated skills and experience are encouraged to apply for this role:

  • 7+ years Public Practice accounting experience. 
  • Customer service experience with individual and business clients.
  • Leadership experience, either formal or informal in nature.
  • Public Practice Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Registered Tax Agent or willingness to obtain.
  • CA, CPA or IPA 
  • Excellent English and communication skills are essential for this role. 
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
  • Permanent residency or citizenship.
  • Public Practice experience.

We are a well-established South Australian owned company, servicing a broad range of business and individual clients throughout the Northern metro and country region.

The Mawson Lakes office is a close-knit team supported by a senior group of accountants from our sister site with decades of experience. Due to the transition to retirement, we now seek the new captain to this ship.

Starting salary range is expected to be $120k + super, with further discussions in regard to a tailored package commensurate to candidate experience.
