Senior Business Services Accountant

About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with an accounting and taxation firm to engage a Senior Business Services Accountant.This position is available in the Slacks Creek office on a permanent basis.

Applicants must have Australian CA or CPA qualification and membership.

Duties

  • Deliver high-quality accounting and tax services (BAS, balance sheets)
  • Manage client relationships in diverse small to medium businesses
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs
  • Identify opportunities for client growth
  • Manage government and regulatory correspondence
  • Train junior team members
Requirements/Skills
  • Australian CA and/or CPA completed with membership
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience of the above Duties 
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and regulations
  • 5+ years PQE in public or business services accounting or excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Desirable
  • 10+ PQE in a public or business services accounting firm
  • Experience with ATO, ASIC, Tax Practitioners Board
  • Cloud-based accounting software experience in Xero and MYOB
