The Roseville team are a tight knit group with a great culture - friendly and high energy, this is the perfect practice for a senior vet nurse with existing leadership experience and a great sense of humour to join a team of positive and outgoing nurses and passionate veterinarians.
We are looking for a Full-timeHead Nurse who has strong communication and team building skills and previous experience leading and motivatinga high functioning nursing team.
About your new role:
- Full-time role managing a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets
- Guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture
- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing withminimum of 3+ years of experience
- Experience coaching and mentoring Vet Nurses
- Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A calm and friendly presence
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible andadaptable within a team environment
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
