PHP Full-Stack Developer - Mid to Senior

Developers/Programmers (Information & Communication Technology)

For more than 10 years, we have helped repairers and suppliers form connections through innovative and market leading solutions. Our software is used by hundreds of businesses and thousands of users each day. 

From our Brisbane based headquarters, and satellite locations in Melbourne and Perth, we host a diverse team of skilled professionals from many career and industry backgrounds.

This is a permanent full-time role. You will be involved in projects which include continuous improvements and re-development of a suite of core business applications.

Illustrative Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement: Play pivotal role in the lifecycle of projects focusing on the continuous improvement and redevelopment of our core business applications suite, ensuring our solutions lead the automotive industry.
  • System Maintenance & Support: Play pivotal role in the maintenance and support of existing projects, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing functionality to meet user needs, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
  • Collaborative Development & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with our diverse team to deliver high-quality software solutions and contribute to quality assurance through test case writing, testing, and peer code reviews.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving & Documentation: Develop innovative solutions to enhance system performance, create comprehensive technical and user-friendly documentation to support development processes and facilitate user adoption.

Technical Skills

Must-Have:

  • Core Technical Proficiencies: Require at least 3 years of full-stack development experience with PHP, jQuery, MySQL, modern web frameworks, and front-end technologies for creating responsive interfaces.
  • Development Best Practices: Solid understanding of development principles, design patterns, and experience with Git version control.
  • Communication & Documentation: Strong communication skills for clear technical discussions and capable of producing comprehensive documentation.
  • Proficiency with Linux-based systems, CentOS preferred, to ensure strong server management and deployment capabilities.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Google Cloud, preferred but not required. This indicates an ability to work with scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced development environments.
