Imbed STEM as part of real-life research projects that offer open-ended learning challenges to trigger students' questions for rigorous research. Full-time position commences Term 3, 2024 (Monday 22 July 2024); casual days available prior to this.

Our stunning new Science Laboratory & Black-and-White Photography Darkroom invite their use in ground-breaking, inventive and unconventional ways.

Blue Gum Community School is a unique small school in Canberra from birth to 16 year olds - from Playgroups through to Year 10. Our school continues to grow. So we are always on the lookout for outstanding STEM teachers for our secondary school program (12-16 year olds). Multi-age research groups of 13 students have 2 core teachers (HASS & STEM) who infuse the program with their specialist expertise, but also work across all areas of development - academic, practical, social/emotional. Additional specialists, e.g. the Arts, Italian, PE etc, complement the program.
