We are seeking experienced Data and Analytics (D&A) Strategy Directors to join the Smarter Data business area.

In Smarter Data you will:
• work at the unique intersection of tax and data and see your leadership transform the way Australians engage with the tax and super systems
• help strengthen the ATO’s data future – we’ve come a long way on our data transformation and are committed to being better everyday
• apply your inquisitive mind to solving puzzles and making connections
• apply your data curiosity for the benefit of your colleagues, clients, and the community – it doesn’t get much bigger than the ATO.

As a Director, you’ll provide multi-domain leadership to increase the profile of Smarter Data as the leading internal ATO data & analytics capability.

You will drive organisational change through purposeful engagement, D&A story telling, data democratisation, and data literacy education across all levels of the ATO. You’ll deliver tangible results through well-constructed business analysis, working with senior executives to define key metrics and provide visibility and narrative on performance. 

You will share your expertise to develop your team’s capabilities and ensure optimum performance.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
