Zenviron is a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy and is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia.

Following the continued growth and success of the business, we are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a site-based opportunity in Central Queensland. This role will see you working on a large-scale Wind Farm Project located 2 hours outside of Rockhampton on a DIDO or FIFO 2:1 roster.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the efficient implementation of project resources and structure in consultation with the Project Manager
  • Provide construction leadership for the balance of plant elements of large scale Wind Farm Projects; managing program, budget, and resources
  • Lead safety and environmental performance throughout the project; driving strong safety culture and initiatives
  • Provide excellent leadership and timely guidance to the project team and subcontractors on-site
  • Establish effective communications with the Client's field representatives
  • Ensure project delivery is met with the highest of standards, on time, and within budget
  • Ensure project compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience managing construction programmes for the full lifecycle
  • Demonstrable experience managing bulk earthworks, structures, roads and drainage, or electrical balance of plant works including substation, underground cabling and overhead line construction
  • Site based industry experience as a Construction Manager within the renewable energy or construction industry, with a track record of successful project execution
  • Commercial and financial management experience
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to manage both stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Clear commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and environmental compliance
  • Proof of right to work in Australia

To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
