Northcott is searching for experienced, dedicated, and ambitious AINs passionate about providing high-level care within ourSpecialised Supported Livingsettings.
As an AIN, you will:- Deliver quality nursing care and support to a diverse range of unique customers using a person-centred approach
- Promote improvement in quality of life and foster independence for people with disability
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Be committed to achieving valuable outcomes for our customers
- Have highly developed communication skills and an understanding of specific needs
- Must have proven experience in the disability field, preferably within group home settings.
- Experience in Manual Handling (hoist experience) andrepositioningis highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in PEG feeding, stoma care, epilepsy management, challenging behaviours and Dysphagia training/experience
- Comfortable in personal care/grooming and ability to engage with the individual.
- Australian driver’s licence, and confidence to drive a 12 seater/wheelchair accessible van
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
