Spicy Web is an award-winning marketing and digital design agency based in Melbourne. We’re looking for somebody with exceptional knowledge in SEO and digital marketing, and a minimum 2-years of experience in a similar role (agency orsimilar).

Strong interpersonal skills are incredibly important within this role, as you’ll have a portfolio of clients who you will manage day-to-day, with regular video/in-person strategy sessions. Building and maintaining relationships with these clients will be crucial as well as increasing their websites visibility in searchengines.

Spicy Web has a strong reputation for delivering results-first, creative, and effective paid media strategies. The role of the SEO Specialist will work closely under the Head of SEO, and alongside the broader digital marketing team to contribute to helping our clients achieve amazingresults.

On a day to day basis, youwill:

Work within our SEO team to build, manage, and optimise SEO campaigns for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries, for a mix of B2B and B2C businesses, with

Proactively managing client relationships with monthly reporting and analysis — helping them to achieve their business goals

Proactively assist clients with improving their online user experience through CRO

Maintain an innovation mindset through continual training, upskill, and education opportunities

Improve CTR from search using schema markup and rich snippets

Undertake and develop comprehensive keyword research and semantic on-page SEO strategies

Conduct off-site optimisation strategies and backlink analysis

Develop content-led strategies to build site authority

Manage landing pages and websites to install conversion code and tracking pixels

Analyse GA4 and Search Console to identify areas of opportunity and potentially identify conversion rate optimisation strategies

You live and breathe all things SEO and SEO innovation

You must be able to work across a wide range of clients in different industries

You have confidence in creating strategies tailored toward organic goals

You have exceptional attention to detail and workload management

You have outstanding communication and presentation skills

You can manage the day-to-day running of campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to streamline processes while maintaining high-output quality

Know your way around all SEO-related tools (ie. ScreamingFrog, ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC, GA etc.)
