Project Manager | Website Improvement Project

Our client, a Queensland State Government Department, are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a web content improvement project of departmental websites including content published to the Queensland Government website.
Key requirements:
- Experience or qualifications in:
- waterfall or agile project management methodologies
- human-centred design and digital solution delivery.
- Understanding of the Queensland Government web environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to lead a small team and manage stakeholders at varying levels.
Role description:
- Manage all aspects of identified projects, including work package delivery, budget, vendor relationships and contracts, recruitment, stakeholder engagement and reporting

- Monitor and evaluate project delivery through effective reporting, metrics and analysis
- Manage escalations and complex issues and provide professional guidance and support as required
- Design strategic project plans and solutions that add value to the department's objectives, priorities, delivery programs and reputation
- Support departmental policies and procedures and contribute to effective governance processes
- Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of project staff.
The successful candidate must:
- demonstrate high-level project management skills and the ability to achieve successful project outcomes
- use strategic leadership abilities to drive project delivery, implement change and manage team performance
- use high-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills in a complex project environment
- demonstrate professional and ethical behaviour and take personal responsibility for your work
- apply specialist knowledge and skills to make decisions with rigour and lead the delivery of high-quality digital outcomes.
Mandatory requirements:
- Experience or qualifications in waterfall or Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience or qualifications in human-centred design and digital solution delivery
