About the Role:
The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently looking for a Site Manager in a leading Civil Engineering Business, that offers services within the nuclear sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and sustainably deliver the construction works.
- Manage site resources to deliver the construction activity.
- Monitor works to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Produce required records promptly.
- Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work
- Support/Assist the Project Manager/Project Director in delivering the project.
- Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve a common goal.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in implementing safe systems of work, managing risks and change processes, and a good understanding of standard forms of contracts
- Commercial Awareness: Proficient in commercial/project management communications, able to identify elements for cost recovery from others, and incorporate operational and commercial constraints into decision making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, negotiate and influence, and discuss ideas and plans competently.
- Leadership Skills: Motivate and empower the team using training, mentoring, and performance management, and produce plans to achieve goals/aspirations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to initiate good scope/information/configuration management principles, help ensure reports provide relevant information to enable informed decisions, and implement technical information and drawings into delivery.
- Health & Safety: Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm, keep up to date with changes in legislation, and promote observation and safety initiatives.
- Personal Qualities: Flexible attitude, ability to work in high-pressure situations, solutions-based approach to problem-solving, and awareness and promotion of the benefits of diversity and inclusion.
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience working on a variety of project types
- Proficiency in O365
- Holds a current driving licence.
