We are seeking a Site Manager to join our team.
Here are the details of the position:
Job title: Site Manager
Location: Birmingham, B33
- Start Date: ASAP
- CITB (SMSTS) Site Managers Safety Course
- The position is full-time.
- Working Arrangement: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Payrate: 200 PAYE or 260 umbrella (CIS)
- Must has some experience on EWI, window replacement, roofing works on high rise properties.
Role:
- Previous Site experience
- To assist the Contracts Manager with pre-start details
- To report to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme
- To ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects. Fully understand the company's SHEQ policy/strategy
- Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives, including: Use of PPE, Site Induction
- Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments undertake a thorough review of all subcontractors RAMS to ensure they have identified all foreseeable risks and implemented suitable controls
- Obtain all risk assessments from contractors
- To obtain sub-contractors Health & Safety policies prior to their work commencement
- Identify training needs
- Maintain statutory registers, including accident reporting, Work Permits, Scaffold/Lifting equipment inspections, In house audits / inspections
- Site house keeping
- Adherence to the Company quality standards including: Management of defects
- Fully understand the Construction Phase Plan Requirements, including its development : Compliance with specification, Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules.
- Subcontractor code of conduct
- Considerate Constructors Scheme
- Coordination / Leadership of the site team, inclusive of:
- Assist with the preparation of the Health and Safety file
- Maintain and update Construction Phase Health & Safety plan as works proceed
- Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
- To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities
- Management of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc.
- Management of site housekeeping, discipline, behaviour etc
