About the organisation
This highly regarded Not-for-Profit provides therapeutic and educational services to people in the community who have been victims of violence. They offer a supportive, inclusive and innovative working environment and are seeking an experienced social work, psychology or counselling professional to join their team.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO, you will provide practice leadership to a team of counselling professionals to ensure the delivery of positive outcomes with an emphasis on clinical excellence.
Your duties will include:
- Practice, and clinical reviews, provide consultations and develop guidelines for best practice.
- Contribute to the learning and development of staff.
- Inform service design and embedding evidence-based practice.
- Provide clinical expertise and recommendations and advice.
About you
You have strong knowledge and expertise of contemporary legislation, policy direction, and evidence based operational practice in specialised trauma related clinical services.
You'll also have:
- Post graduate tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling or equivalent.
- Eligibility for professional membership/registration.
- Extensive clinical services practice experience working with people with complex trauma presentations.
- Highly developed clinical supervision and/or clinical consultation skills.
What's in it for you
- A 6-8 week locum contract with the possibility of extension paying $85-90p/h + super.

- Hybrid working on offer with option for part time (0.8FTE).
