Senior Lead Network Solution Architect

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and explicating IT solutions aligned with our strategic business and technical requirements. This role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco network devices, excellent solution design capabilities, and effective coordination and management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Development:
- Develop and explicate IT solutions that align with the enterprise’s strategic business and technical requirements.
- Define the approach for structuring each application, including determining the appropriate use of technology solutions.
- Design and document network solutions, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and secure.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability expectations.
- Develop and communicate architectural proposals for various projects and initiatives.
- Translate business needs into scalable, efficient, and effective network solutions.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams, documentation, and presentations to support proposed solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, ASA, and other security appliances.
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of network and security technologies, including the latest advancements in the field.
- Perform network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization.
- Lead the implementation of network solutions, coordinating development and deployment activities.
- Manage vendors and ensure solutions align with the organization’s technology roadmap and architecture principles.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality to ensure successful implementation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Extensive experience with Cisco network devices and technologies.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale network solutions.
- Experience in developing and presenting architectural proposals to stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV).
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
