C++ Developer

Our client, a leading trading firm, is looking to hire a C++ Developer for the growing team in Sydney. In this role, your work will involve optimizing performance, enhancing functionality, and ensuring the stability of the trading platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions.
- Continuously improve the performance, functionality, and stability of our trading platform.
- Analyze complex business and technical problems and propose effective solutions.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Demonstrate proactive decision-making and take ownership of your work.
- Provide timely support for trading activities and resolve system issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong passion for technology and software development.
- Expertise inC++ programming and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to tackle open-ended problems and apply analytical methods.
- Solid understanding of designing and developing multi-threaded applications.
- Professional experience with distributed systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a dynamic trading environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with proprietary trading is a plus, but not required.
