Our client, a major EPCM in the mining industry, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineerto work on a 12-month contract inPerth, WA.

Role: Senior Civil Engineer - Earthworks

Location: Perth, WA - Wesley

Duration: 12-month initial contract (strong prospects of a contract extension and long-term opportunities).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience and demonstrated experience working on mining, earthworks and road projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working on study and design projects within the mining industry.
  • Experience in preparing engineering designs and geometric calculations.

Responsibilities:

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineers to join a large multidisciplinary project team in a role based at our centrally located Perth CBD office.

This large-scale project aims to maintain our client’s production of iron ore in Western Australia and is valued at more than $1 billion. The project scope is focused on civil earthworks, roads, material handling transfer pads, non-process infrastructure pads, surface water management and drainage.Role will focus on:

  • Engineering design of haul roads, earthworks, earthwork pads
  • Geometric calculations for roads and reviewing drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience and demonstrated experience working on mining, earthworks and road projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working on study and design projects within the mining industry.
  • Experience in preparing engineering designs and geometric calculations.
