The Team

As a leader in trust-based services to the public sector, our Finance, Risk & Cyber business supports clients whenever a concern or big decision arises. We support clients to achieve outcomes for communities that are increasingly seeking trusted sources of information around issues like organisational integrity, cyber risk, integrity of data, commitment to sustainability and climate change, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of transformation programs.

The Role

In this role, you will create value by:

• Helping solve client problems by analysing data, conducting research, interviews and then synthesising information.
• Taking an inquisitive mindset to developing meaningful findings and pragmatic recommendations that will support success in our clients’ most impactful projects.
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of client engagements; including client interviews and documentation reviews.
• Managing the timely completion of engagement documentation.
• Building relationships with clients – and maintaining a network of contacts across the firm - to help deepen our impact on our clients’ most pressing issues.

Technically, you will bring to the position:

• A bachelor's degree, ideally in a relevant field such as project management, commerce or engineering, however other fields of study will also be considered. Advanced project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Professional Scrum Master or SAFe Agile are highly desirable (but not required).
• 1-5 years’ relevant experience, e.g. a project management, PMO, business analyst or change management role (experience in other roles will also be considered).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
• A proactive mindset and proven ability to quickly pick up new concepts
• An understanding of technology and its impact on organisations
• Excellent self-organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct interviews with clients.
• Good business writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information concisely and effectively.
• Additional knowledge of quality assurance and testing, and broader technology concepts would be valued.

Recruitment and assessment process

The interview process at Scyne generally involves two to three interviews including a blend of behavioural, technical, and scenario-based questions to assess a candidate's alignment to the role (and other current or future positions), the team, the business, and our values.
