As we embark into the next stage of our Inland Rail project, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer from a Utilities background to join us on a FIFO basis and play a key role in delivering one of the country’s biggest rail infrastructure projects happening today.
Key responsibilities
- Construction management and coordination of contestable and non-contestable utility scope of works in road and rail environments.
- Plan, manage and implement the site establishment activities necessary to perform works and ensure all site specific and contract requirements are met in terms of safety, environmental and traffic conditions.
- Liaise and coordinate collaboratively with internal / external stakeholders such as utility authorities, subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients
- Schedule and cost management of self-performed and subcontractors works
- Maintaining documentation related to scope of works, including quality documentation, progress reports, risk assessments, works methodology.
- Reporting to management on the progress and status of projects
About you
Ideally, you will have the experience of delivering utilities (Gas and Electricity) within a major project environment (Road or Rail) and hold strong communication skills with stakeholders such as APA and Essential Energy.
