About the company/role
Our client is a leading Listed technology company which is continuing to have a strong period of growth and looking for a senior legal counsel to join their close-knit in-house team.
You will advise on a range of commercial contracting, advisory and technology matters including drafting and negotiating customer and supply contracts covering Cloud, Cyber, Data Centres and other services. You will also advise on broader matters such as Corporate Law (M&A, Advisory), Consumer Law, Privacy, financing, risk and regulatory matters.
The role reports into the General Counsel and offers exposure to the CEO, Board members and key stakeholders within the business.
The in-house legal team is very much embedded in all aspects of the company's business and has a collaborative, friendly and dynamic culture. The role is based in the CBD, offers flexible working arrangements and an attractive salary package.
Skills & experience
The successful candidate will have circa 8 - 15 years post qualification experience gained within a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment, strong technical ability, good EQ and a good sense of humour. The role would suit a driven individual who has a good sense of humour, someone who is resilient and thrives in a busy and fast paced workplace.
The company requires the candidate to be based in Sydney. They would consider someone wishing to work 4 or 5 days a week.
The role is diverse and interesting and would take your career to the next level in terms of the matters and projects you would advise on and ownership the role would give you.
