Are you a seasoned SDET/QA Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're seeking a dedicated SDET/QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Liven. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality of our software delivery and leading our testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of POS systems, kitchen display systems, restaurant ordering kiosks, and payment solutions.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Test system integrations with other services to ensure seamless operation.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Log, manage, and track test cases and defects using test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Execute regression tests to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of product quality by suggesting enhancements and challenging the status quo.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the products and their functionalities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to convey testing progress, results, and issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, preferably in POS systems, kitchen display systems, or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in identifying and addressing issues.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to constructively challenge developers and product teams to ensure the highest standards of quality.
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Experience in logging and managing test cases, executing regression tests, and conducting exploratory testing.
Desired Skills
- Experience with API testing and Postman is a plus.
- Automation experience is a bonus.
