Project Description:

Project Unite is a large strategic simplification project for a major Australian bank. There are multiple streams in this project, some of which will run for 5 years.

Responsibilities:

Project Manage a stream or sub stream within the Hogan core banking space. Operate under the direction of the Program Executive.

Mandatory Skills Description:

Preferably Core Banking or similar experience needed

5 - 10 years experience in Project Management in a Banking Finance Domain

a demonstrated record of successful delivery of projects

People and team leadership skills

Ability to work on multiple project assignments simultaneously

Solid knowledge of Banking and Finance industry

Strong Leadership and verbal and written communication skills

Disciplined and organized approach

Eagerness to learn, good initiative and flexibility

Eagerness to teach and to share their skills with team members

Project Description:We are currently working with a well-known financial services organization in Australia who are using Calypso V16 as a front to back office system for Fixed income, IR derivatives business.You will be involved in streamlining their global end-of-day process, revising market data solution, coordination with all upstream / downstream interfaces. This role provides good opportunity for any capital markets BA / PM to utilize their skills in a complex multi-year project, provide broad understanding of complete EOD process for a global financial institution and exposure to all the modules in Calypso as a trading platform as well as collateral system.Responsibilities:• Lead the team of BA / QA who is working on building global EOD process replacing current region-specific process.• Formulate the critical path and optimize eod scheduling tool where needed coordinate with stake holders from Product control, Risk and regulatory platforms• Responsible for initiation, planning, delivery and implementation, utilizing available resources to deliver on time and meet quality benchmarks.• Identify risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.• Excellent commercial acumen, communication and collaboration skills a must have.• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders at the Executive level.• Identify and plan resource requirements to meet business objectives.• Managing all stakeholders' expectations across the program.Mandatory Skills Description:• 10+ years of capital markets experience, particularly in trading, risk and accounting are highly desirable.• Prior experience driving large projects implementing trading or risk platforms like Calypso, Murex as an SME or Delivery lead.• Experience in working with batch scheduling tools like Autosys, Ctrl-M.• Excellent understanding of Trade life cycle, pricing, settlement of OTC derivative products like IRD, Fixed Income and Money market.• Hands on documenting / managing business requirements with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Rally and similar tools.• Expertise in estimations, scheduling and planning sprints by working together with release train engineers.• Strong communication, facilitation and documentation skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders across all seniority levels.• Previous experience working on large programs encompassing multiple initiatives / projects, enjoys working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous and continuously changing environment.• Work both independently and as part of a team and ability to look at big picture and at the same time, dive into the details. Effective problem-solving skills, welcomes change and is adaptable within a very dynamic environment.Nice-to-Have Skills Description:• Experience in working with calypso as trading / collateral platform.• Prior experience or knowledge in accounting and product control processes.• Experience in market date management tools like Golden source.• Experience in working with or leading support team to monitor EOD batch and resolve any issues arising.

- MUST have Capital Markets to apply- Sydney based roleProject Description:An opportunity for a senior BA to be a part of the ClearStar Program, which is a multi-year roadmap of work for the Derivatives Clearing business. Derivatives clearing operates critical financial market infrastructure to meet public interest mandates in reducing systemic risk and to meet the needs of a diverse set of market participants. The overall objective of the Program is to upgrade, modernise and re-platform critical Derivatives Clearing technology that are nearing end of life, find new growth opportunities, and pivot the business to be relevant for its customers with futureproof adaptive delivery frameworks.Responsibilities:The role is responsible for assessing new concepts against current systems and procedures, analysing stakeholder needs from and end-to-end perspective, engaging internal and external clients through various facilitation techniques and mediums, and providing high quality, fit for purpose business analysis artefacts - including, but not limited to, business requirements, user stories with clear acceptance criteria, functional specifications, business process models and interface and impact analysis documents.Responsibilities:?• Work with impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on the As-Is state of derivative clearing systems, allowing for effective review by project team members and impacted stakeholders• Liaise with assigned Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts for prioritisation, elicitation and analysis of new business requests within the ClearStar program• Define transitions of business processes to the strategic state, with interim/tactical states where needed.• Elicitation, preparation and generation of business requirements (including functional and non-functional) in the form of epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria and clearly articulate to a wide audience including developers, testers, vendors and project stakeholders.• Use formal modelling techniques to assist in the representation of business requirements• Liaise with counterparts in related internal project/domain teams to understand dependencies, constraints, associated requirements and agree upon and deliver solutions• Review and contribute to specific test scenarios the overall Test Strategy• Liaise with IT solution providers (internal & external) on project progress and problem resolution• Ability to assume cross-functional responsibilities when needed, such as running project coordination, daily stand-ups, retros and backlog grooming sessions.• Work with Release Management to ensure a smooth implementation and transition phase• Contribution to change management activities and preparation of training artefacts that would enable impacted stakeholders to apply the changes introduced by a delivered business requirement.• Conduct peer review of business analysis artefacts to ensure quality and alignment to framework.• Produce high quality business analysis deliverables using relevant techniques and tools in line with the delivery framework.• Being an active member of, the BA Community of Practice (CoP).• Support and mentor junior members of the teamMandatory Skills Description:• Capital Markets Experience e.g. Financial services background with knowledge gained through industry experience in front/middle/back office operations• 7+ years dedicated business analysis experience working on Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects• Experience working independently on Tier 1 project across the full SDLC from early ideation to execution and embedment in BAU.• Deep understanding of the business analysis fundamentals.• Experience in gathering stakeholder needs and translating these to detailed requirements• Experience in business process modelling using software such as MS Visio or other enterprise endorsed platforms.• Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA and Confluence).• Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills. Can collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels.• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage change within a dynamic environment.• Be comfortable working within a matrix structure.• Experience working with Change Management and influencing user behaviour.• Experience in helping teams transform agile ways of working at scale, quarterly planning, sprint planning• Worked both independently and as part of a larger, cohesive team• Managed, or assisted in managing, a small scrum team, including running Agile ceremonies• Shown adaptability and flexibility within a very dynamic environment• Experience in helping to build foundational project capabilities• Experience in helping to build a strong, cohesive team.• Degree qualified in an engineering, financial or mathematical disciplineNice-to-Have Skills Description:• Proven ability to provide support for production incidents and end user queries.• Business Analysis Certification, eg.
