The Maintenance Controller vacancy in Kenley, Victoria (Menegazzo Orchard) offers suitably qualified internal and external candidates an outstanding opportunity for career progression.
The Maintenance Controller role supports the Orchard Manager in ensuring the orchard and harvest equipment is available at all times for the orchard operation. This includes the servicing, maintenance and repair of equipment per servicing and operational requirements.
Reporting to the Orchard Manager you will have the autonomy to:
- Assist the Orchard Manager in the planning, monitoring and managing of key deliverables by achieving the long-term sustainability of orchard equipment.
- Liaise with contractors to ensure timelines and scoped works are conducted within the planned maintenance programs in a safe environment
- Assist the management team with the development of master equipment matrix and recording of individual equipment activities
- Support and participate in the development of a team culture within Olam Almond Orchards

To be considered for an interview you will have small team management experience, an understanding of agricultural operations and reasonable computer skills. You will also have the energy and drive to persevere through long seasons, reasonable business and financial acumen (or at least the willingness to learn) and excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills to drive a high-performance team culture.
