What does the job look like?

We are seeking a passionate Communications and Marketing professional to join the Corporate Communications team based at our Essendon Fields head office.

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the team with the planning, development and execution of internal and external marketing and communications.

You will be responsible for developing and coordinating a broad range of hands-on communication tasks, including researching, writing, editing, and executing high quality content for internal and external print and digital publications.You will work closely with a range of stakeholders and suppliers to design communication collateral in line with the communications strategy and;

  • Support research, writing and editing of strategic communication projects internally and externally.
  • Assist with driving Linfox’s social media strategy.
  • Support the management of Linfox’s website and intranet.
  • Marketing lead for nominated internal campaigns, communications and projects.
  • Provide general support to the Corporate Communications team, as well as the wider Linfox business community.

You are a Communications and Marketing professional with a background in copywriting, proofing and editing with a strong interest in digital content. You have a natural ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, can manage multiple tasks and work within a fast-paced environment. You are dedicated to learning and thrive in an environment where you continue to learn and develop. You can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary level qualification in Marketing & Communications.
  • 3+ years Communications and Marketing experience across agency or inhouse.
  • Experience developing engaging content, and proofing and editing existing content.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and WordPress highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with Canva, MailChimp, Google Analytics, LinkedIn required.
  • Ability to navigate SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms/content libraries.
