The Opportunity

As our Policy and Communications Advisor, you will work from our Harbourside corporate office to profileVeolia externally through both owned and earned channels. You will give close support to the Head of Communications and Public Policy to enhance our engagement with communities where we operate, and support our policy influence.

What you'll be responsible for
  • Content creation around key policy issues affecting Veolia’s customers and the environment sector
  • Support the execution of the businesses media and government relations strategy by creating engaging and relevant content and submissions to government 
  • Co-design and implement the company’s stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Foster open and transparent relationships with communities, industry bodies, and government agencies
  • Prepare and review reports, briefings, speeches and correspondence, including Ministerial and Legislative submissions;
  • Provide strategic communications support for major projects
     
What you'll need to be successful
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a Communications related field;
  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role
