About the service

Our client is presently in the final stages of building a brand new centre. As Centre Manager, you will work at a nearby centre, immersing yourself in the way things work inside the organisation before transferring across to the new centre a month before opening. You will play a critical role in recruiting your team, establishing a positive workplace culture and then working with a marketing team to build occupancy. The centre has a beautiful design, lots of open ended space, great outdoor area and will incorporate lots of natural elements.

About you

As the Centre Manager, your responsibilities extend beyond operational management to cultivate a nurturing and vibrant workplace environment. Your leadership profoundly influences the educational path of the children and staff in your care. We seek a seasoned leader with experience in similar roles, showcasing adept communication skills to rally, inspire, and empower a team of dedicated early childhood educational professionals who will be instrumental in crafting the learning atmosphere for our children and building strong family connections.

Role requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
  • Significant and proven people management experience with the ability to manage both up and down the chain
  • A positive growth mindset coupled with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Positive experience with Assessment and Rating, including developing and maintaining a QIP
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with all stakeholders
