Are you a social media gun who lives and breathes sport?

Stan Sport is the home of Rugby, UEFA Champions League, Grand Slam Tennis and more, and the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024 we’re on the hunt for an experienced Social Media Producer to join our team.

WHAT YOUR DAY TO DAY LOOKS LIKE

Reporting to the Social Media Manager - Sport, this fast-paced and exciting role is responsible for implementing and executing Stan Sport’s social media strategy.

You’ll work closely with the broader Stan Social, Marketing, Sport and Creative teams to create compelling content that drives awareness, engagement and subscriber growth for Stan Sport.

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include, among other things: content ideation, campaign planning, video shooting and editing, live sport coverage, copywriting, scheduling, community management, reporting and analysis.

You’ll have the ability to shoot, edit and produce entertaining and engaging video content for a range of social platforms, from mobile and vertical video, to long-form packages and compilations.

You’ll be comfortable with all the tools of the trade, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Facebook Creator Studio and Business Manager, as well as native and third-party production, scheduling and reporting tools. You’ll have a solid understanding of social media platform functionality, trends and best practices.

In season, your days and hours will vary to ensure you can cover matches live. You’ll be comfortable working outside of regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required, to bring sport to fans across our channels.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience managing social media for a large scale business or brand;
  • Demonstrated passion for sport (especially rugby, football, tennis and motorsport);
  • A creative eye. Experience producing highly engaging social media video, and using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or similar production tools;
  • Ability to fully produce and manage talent shoots, from concept ideation, through to shooting, directing and editing;
  • Ability to produce content that delivers to Stan Sport’s brand guidelines and standards of quality;
  • Strong attention to detail. Superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to write succinct, engaging social copy while incorporating key brand messaging;
  • Ability to identify content opportunities and react with lightning speed, and proactively seek opportunities/angles to promote our brand and content based on social trends and conversations;
  • Strong understanding of both organic and paid social media, including platforms, trends and targeting approaches;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment whilst juggling multiple projects.
