About Our Client

My client is an independent government agency responsible for the safe generation, supply and use of electricity, gas and pipelines.

Job Description

Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy to enhance and influence employee experience; engage and inform staff with timely, compelling and transparent communications; and support the leaders to communicate clearly and effectively.

Create communications plans, activities and materials to support the delivery of organisational strategic objectives, major projects and other activities.

Provide pragmatic and tailored advice to staff at all levels of the organisation on the best approach for internal communications.

Develop engaging and brand-aligned content, employing storytelling techniques where appropriate, for the intranet, newsletters, all staff presentations and all staff communications.

Work with teams across the organisation to source, write and publish intranet news items and stories.

The Successful Applicant

Extensive hands-on experience in developing and delivering internal communications plans and activities.

Experience delivering internal communications to support the roll-out of organisation-wide initiatives and programs.

Excellent writing and corporate storytelling skills fora diversity of audiences and projects.

Experience working with and providing advice to a wide range of internal stakeholders at all levels.

Experience managing digital platforms, such as SharePoint sites or similar.

Experience embedding brand with internal stakeholders.

Experience working in a regulatory of government environment (desired).
