About the team
Our Tech Risk team provide services across all industries toensure that appropriate controls, processes and solutions are inplace to manage risks and we assist clients to better understandhow to achieve their strategic and operational objectives. Givenits pervasive nature and impact across all aspects of a business,our knowledge of end-to-end business operations develops to a veryhigh standard, placing candidates in a position to extend theirskills.
We provide Technology Risk & Assurance services toorganisations to assist them to understand and manage theirtechnology and business risks across diverse industries. We arecommitted to assessing technology risks, advising on robustmeasures, and offering strategic advice to enhance overalltechnology risk management and assurance across core technologiesthat support and enable critical business processes.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with theLeadership and wider team to provide a range of technology relatedadvice and services for clients. We enjoy outstanding relationshipswith our clients by focusing on what is important to them, adoptinga partnership-style approach, being responsible and reliable,keeping our promises and maintaining open and frank communication.The team has a relatively flat hierarchy and allows for directinteraction with the Partner and Director so that your developmentis tailored to your specific needs and career aspirations.
In this role you will provide advisory, technology riskremediation and assurance services, develop governance andtechnology risk management frameworks, help facilitate workshopsand advise on technology risk and mitigation.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering a variety of tech risk & assurance andbusiness improvement / transformation projects
- Recommending technical & non-technical improvements toclient systems, processes and controls
- Preparing proposals in response to client requests(including budgeting to assignment costs)
- Working with the team to undertake scheduling of workacross the practice
- Supervising fieldwork and contributing to the developmentof junior staff in a mentoring capacity
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in TechAudit or Tech related risk & assurance gained within theprofessional services environment. Furthermore, youranalytical and investigative skills as well as your keen eye willset you apart.
The following will also be beneficial to the role:
- Technology and Accounting or business-related degree
- In the process of, (or willing to) obtain certifications orqualifications relevant to the role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a teamenvironment
