Responsibilities:

As a Taxation Accountant / Bookkeeper at Carrick Aland, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation of Individual, Partnership, Trust, and Company Income Tax Returns
• Aiding in the preparation and lodgement of IAS’s and BAS’s
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
• Corresponding with ATO and other regulatory bodies on various matters.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities:

• Strong business record-keeping and compliance reporting knowledge
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to build repour with clients
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving mindset and aptitude
• A degree in Business/Commerce is highly regarded, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Quick adaptation to various software applications
• Experience with Xero software is a valuable advantage.
