- Strong SRE experience needed
One of our enterprise clients is looking for an Engineer with strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering here in Melbourne. This role will be an initial 6 month contract, working in a hybrid workplace on a greenfield SRE implementation. You will be working in an embedded model across a number delivery teams to implement and uplift the SRE capability.
Skills & Experience:
- A wealth of experience in implementing observability tools and frameworks across both Azure and Kubernetes environments.
- The ability to create compelling visualisation on relevant systems data with dashboarding technologies such as Grafana and Kibana.
- Strong experience with configuring observability platforms like Dynatrace, Lightstep, New Relic, Honeycomb or Datadog.
- Working knowledge of Open Telemetry traces and metrics.
- Experience with using DORA metrics to drive improvement across the business
Technology stack:
- Azure, and Cloud hosted workloads experience with Azure Synapse would highly desired
- Kubernetes ( AKS)
- CI: Github Actions CD: Octopus Deploy
- Terraform for IAC
- Observability tooling; Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana, Jaeger, Chronosphere, Prometheus
