Eightcap is an Australian online financial trading Company that specializes in foreign exchange (forex) and contract for difference (CFD) trading, offering over 800 tradable instruments to retail clients. The Company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Guatemala, Cyprus and Bulgaria. 

Quickly becoming a leader in its field, the Company has gone from strength to strength and experiencing rapid growth. Because of this we are looking for a Front-end Angular Engineer to join the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver new features based on written requirements 
  • Maintain and optimize existing Angular applications 
  • Communicate with overseas team members on a daily basis 
  • Liaise with stakeholders 
  • Uplift, optimize, refactor existing solutions

Who are you?

  • Proven experience with Angular 10+
  • Solid understanding of RX.js framework and have experience with signals
  • Solid understanding of HTML and (SCSS or LESS).
  • Experience with integrating REST API solutions 
  • Experience with state management frameworks such as ngrx.
  • SOLID principles, algorithms, mathematical sense, and numerical skills. 
  • GIT
  • Experience with at least one CI/CD ecosystem.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks (desired)
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks other than Angular (desired)
  • Experience with mobile first Frontend solutions (desired)
  • Knowledge of various design patterns (desired)
  • AWS (Cloudfront, S3, Code build) or other equivalent cloud technology (desired)
  • Working with Atlassian products JIRA, Confluence, etc (desired)
