About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Associate (with1-2 years of Senior Associate experience) to work as part of ourhigh performing team that prides itself on providing commercialadvice on all aspects of commercial property law for private andpublic sector clients. We work collaboratively with our clients tobuild strong, sustainable relationships. This is anopportunity to work closely with partners and clients, covering aspectrum of property development work to undertaking substantialproperty transactions, infrastructure projects and providingproperty advice.

Your primary duties include:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating leases and contractdocuments
  • Providing comprehensive advice to public and private sectorclients throughout various stages of commercial propertytransactions.
  • Representing private sector clients in navigating andresponding to public procurement processes for land sales andacquisitions.
  • Advising land owners in relation to the development of landincluding advising on development agreements and accesslicences
  • Advising land owners in relation to title structuring anddrafting easements, restrictions of use and positivecovenants
  • Advising on strata schemes and community schemes
  • Assisting with providing due diligence and corporatesupport to our commercial team

About you

To be successful and thrive in this role, you will:

  • Have broad-ranging property experience working as a SeniorAssociate in a commercial property or real estate team withinprivate practice (6+ PQE)
  • Strong academics, exceptional written and verbalcommunication
  • Demonstrate outstanding drafting abilities, deliver legallysound solutions and exhibit meticulous attention to detail
  • Show independence in thinking and adaptability to quicklygrasp new concepts
  • Adopt a client-centric and pragmatic approach toproblem-solving
  • Be able to support partners with team development includingmentoring junior team members and business developmentactivities
  • Be comfortable managing a high volume of matters and takingresponsibility for those matters.
