Role Description

Working as an Estimator in our established Sydney team, you will work closely with Directors and key stakeholders across our business on a range of projects in the transport and utilities space.

You will be responsible for:
  • Participating in scope of works planning, ensuring that scope gaps are minimised and cost efficiencies are maximised.
  • Undertake Quantity take-off’s, development of Bills of Quantity, Cost Estimation, Cost Control and management.
  • Actively engage with construction suppliers and sub-contractors to gain market-based supplier and sub-contract prices for cost estimation purposes.
  • Report on job progress and cost control to the Estimating Manager
  • Check for authorisation payments to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain strong relationships with current clients
  • Assisting with the preparation of fee proposals and bids


Candidate Profile

To be successful, you’ll need 5 - 7 years of demonstrated experience as an Estimator, ideally from a Construction/Contractor background.

You will also need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • A willingness to work as part of a wider team, to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
