Office Manager

Reporting into the GM you will manage day to day banking, invoicing, credit control, payroll and a range of finance duties for the small group.
Mars have an exciting role that will mainly focus on the transactional areas of finance but also have growth the more qualified areas as you grow in the role. This role will suit someone who has an eye for detail and can work in high volume environments day to day.
As the long serving accountant finishes up this will be a chance for someone to step in and make the role their own. Working closely with the GM you will also learn the Aviation industry and a range of new skills to add to your CV.
Responsibilities:
- Banking, credit cards and payments of invoices day to day.
- Manage Payroll duties via XERO for the team of 26.
- Report on BAS activity for customer invoicing.
- Manage salary sacrifice and FBT calculations.
- Assist in monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet.
- Arrange end of year reporting and budgets / forecasting.
Experience:
- 4-8 years as an experienced bookkeeper or transactional duties.
- Knowledge of XERO or a similar system desirable.
- CA/CPA qualification not essential.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
- Exposure to high volume and transactional environments.
The ability to work autonomously here is key given the small team based in West Perth. There is some excellent flexibility and benefits for the right candidate and if you can start at short nothing that will also be an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
