Our workplace champions inclusion and celebrates diversity.Based in Moore Park, NSW we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Major Events Coordinator to become part of a high achieving team reporting to the Senior Manager - Major Events.In the role you will:
  • Lead the event venue operations coordination for all NRL Major events including non-game day events
  • Engage with all NRL internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements are delivered at NRL major events including but not limited to parking, catering, FF&E requirements, security and traffic and transport operations
  • Assist with the design, procurement, and implementation of precinct operations for all NRL major events
  • Coordinate risk management, work health and safety and legislative requirements of the business are incorporated into all NRL Major events
  • Monitor events and activities to ensure timely outcomes are delivered within the defined budget requirements and parameters
  • Engage required specialist event contractors to assist to deliver events
  • Be central point of contact for Venue and Transport for major events and selected premiership venues
  • Maximise customer satisfaction at NRL events and continually look to improve fan engagement
Ideally you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Bachelor of Business or related on job experience
  • +2 years’ experience in large scale event execution and operations
  • Successful track record in coordinating venue operations and event delivery for medium-large scale events
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Flexibility to work weekends/after hours, where required
