Job Description

Roster- La rgely Monday to Friday day role, with evening and weekend hours as functions required.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for building events, as well as executing
  • Would suit a junior events coordinator looking for growth and increased autonomy
  • Working across 2 magnificent sites, with a massive variety of functions
  • Plan and execute all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and entertainment.
  • Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas, ensuring all logistical details are accounted for.
  • Oversee event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Desired Skills and Experience

Key Attributes required for the position:

  • Experience both building and executing events
  • Confident in your own skills, able to demonstrate tangible experience to client stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining strong and effective client relationships.
  • Able to build financially stable events that meed targets
  • A strong Workplace Health and Safety and Compliance focus
  • Managing staff turnover and effective recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written

The Ideal Applicant will have:

  • 2 years experience in the events field
  • Previous experience working with premium client groups
  • A strong sense of quality control and an eye for detail
  • Professionalism and accountability along with personal values aligned with Care, Pride and Community
