Rental Department Manager

We are searching for a Rental Department Manager to join our thriving team

The ideal candidate will coordinate and oversee all Property Management within the Geelong Property Hub, including both Armstrong Real Estate and Lara Real Estate. You will be across all property management files, transactions and staff to ensure any questions or issues can be promptly and accurately resolved. You will also manage, train and recruit within the Rental Department to ensure the department performs effectively. You will be required to work from both the Armstrong Creek and Lara offices.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Rental Department Manager include team management, business development, networking and training. Specific responsibilities within these areas include, but are not limited to:
- Involvement in the goal setting of the department and individuals
- Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of goals, targets and KPIs
- Actively monitor and track Portfolio gain/loss management
- Recruitment, onboarding and training
- Responsible for Department compliance
- Responsible for Dispute resolution
- Contribute to the growth of the department and team members
- Responsible for contributing to client experience and satisfaction
Skills & Experience
- Hold a current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration
- Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation
- Minimum of 4 year’s experience in Property Management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
- An understanding of the environment in which a Real Estate organisation operates
- Satisfactory national police record check
