Vice President - Financial Engineering: Transforming Finance with Innovation

Elevate your career with a premier financial institution as Vice President of Financial Engineering. Your Impact:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of pioneering Treasury libraries and utilities, setting new standards for functionality, ease of use, and reusability.
  • Foster collaborative relationships between finance and IT, working alongside business stakeholders, quantitative analysts, and technologists to streamline model development processes within Finance.
  • Strategically implement software solutions adhering to best practices, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and comply with stringent regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the Head of Financial Engineering and Quantitative Analytics teams to deliver practical, compliant software solutions that enhance our financial and risk analytics capabilities.
Your Expertise:
  • Demonstrated excellence in software and application development, with a proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming, software architecture, and algorithms.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance, particularly quantitative finance, risk analytics, and a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, capable of managing stakeholder expectations, driving strategic objectives, and leading cross-functional teams towards success.
  • Technical agility, with familiarity in SQL, relational and noSQL databases, and technologies such as REST, gRPC, Apache Beam, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of C++, Dash or other UI frameworks, and machine learning fundamentals is highly regarded.
