Position Summary:
- Identify and secure new group & catering opportunities
- Work with other operational disciplines to secure conferences, meetings and events
- Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements,
- Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion and welcoming our experienced travelers
- Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by being passionate, forward and inviting through each customer experience
- Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Act as a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel ambassador and promote awareness on the hotel
About You:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Working rights in Australia
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
- Experience in admin-based roles of similar
