Up Wealth Management was established in 2014 to provide a personalised wealth management experience to people within the ACT, Sydney and NSW South Coast regions. We specialise in providing a service to affluent, high net wealth and high net income individuals and families. We are 100% adviser owned.

Our business has had strong growth in the first 10 years of business and we are now looking to bring on an additional Adviser (or Senior Adviser).
The role
- We are looking for an Adviser that can take on the primary care and relationships of a book of existing clients and to have the capacity to develop referral networks and bring on new clients.
- We are open to applications from Advisers that are 3 months out of a Professional Year (PY) through to Advisers that have been in the industry 20+ years. What is truly important to us is the quality of the person. There are merits of a younger adviser in their career, as there are for a more experienced adviser.
- The Adviser role is a role of great responsibility, as clients will entrust their monies, life goals and financial wellbeing with you. We take this seriously and it is important that great advice and service levels are provided to our clients.
- The Adviser will be supported by Client Relationship Managers within the business who will assist with managing the admin side of the business and also completing advice documents. Being able to work within a team and having strong communication will be really important to be effective in this role.
- The Adviser will have objectives relating to client retention, compliance outcomes, lead generation, new business objectives (upfront income and increase in ongoing income), how they live the Up values and relate with other team members. There will be a settling in period.
- We continue to grow organically and through acquisition and we will need the Adviser to assist in servicing clients of future acquisitions.
- The Adviser role will be located in our Sydney office in the CBD. The clients will be predominately Sydney based.
- We are looking to build out a high quality advice business that can be meaningful to people. We have found through COVID and post-COVID that working from home does not work within this role, in our business. This is a role where you operate within a team and we have experienced that communication and effectiveness is maximised when we are together.
The person

- Experience in a financial planning firm already is a must.
- You need to have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You need to be able to operate in a highly professional business who deal with affluent, high net wealth and high net income individuals and families.
- You must be a team player.
- You need excellent computer skills. Xplan experience is preferred. To the best we can be, we are a paperless office.
