About the team
The Divisional Financial Services team working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) directorate providing support:
- Commercial insight, financial advice, funding and activity analysis and business case support
- Divisional budgeting, forecasting and reporting
About the role
A regular day will see you:
- Assist with the COO directorate support functions and COO key project deliverables
- Provide support to the COO Finance Business Partners
- Provide standardised reports
- Perform hospital and financial administrative functions
- Maintain registers and tracking systems
- Process journals, both in a routine and ad hoc capacity
- Support end-to-end budget process and month end reporting processes
About you
To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, accounting, economics, law, administration, finance or a similar area.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to develop innovative solutions to problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Recognised analytical and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrates supportive and facilitative approach to problem-solving
