QLD Coastal Plumbing is a well-established plumbing company, specialising in all aspects of commercial plumbing construction and commercial/residential plumbing maintenance.

We are currently seeking a full-time, Commercial Plumbing Service Manager, incorporatingBusiness Development to join our successful team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day running of up to 6 plumbers and continuing to grow our service department by maintaining existing relationships and the acquisition of new business.

  • Quality control
  • Business development, developing and maintaining strong client business partnerships and relationships
  • The acquisition of new commercial maintenance contracts
  • Quoting/estimating/invoicing
  • Report generation and budget management
  • Provide updates and reports to our Managing Director
  • Identifying areas of improvement and implementing optimisations and efficiencies, including process development
  • Oversee service coordination and office support team

Skills and experience

  • Trade qualified Maintenance Manager for min 5 years
  • Contractor's Licence Plumbing & Gas Fitting
  • Business development experience of 5 years with the ability to chase hot and cold leads
  • Client focused & skill to develop & maintain relationships
  • Positive, resilient and goal orientated approach
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Highly effective at working independently
  • Well presented with exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient in outlook, excel and word
  • Self-motivated and project energy on to others around you
  • Current QLD Drivers Licence
