About the RoleWithin the ADF contract, our Psychiatrists are responsible for providing expert psychiatric advice and support to Defence and health service providers. This will involve the management of complex mental health cases.Taking on the Psychiatrist role, you will have:- Extensive experience as a clinical leader and psychiatrist involved in the provision of clinical interventions relevant to the needs of Eligible Personnel experiencing mental health problems, particularly the impact of trauma;
- A high-level of experience in mental health and psychiatric service leadership and management, program development, research and/or policy development;
- Wide ranging experience in the provision of clinical supervision in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Please note - this role is due to start in December 2024, but a possibility to explore an earlier date.

- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Psychiatrists;
- Current Defence Health Services experience (desirable);
