GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry. The Opportunity
We are on the lookout for an expereinced Project Engineer reporting directly to the Construction Manager, to provide a link between the contractor site crews and assist in project management and field activities
You will provide engineering technical support for the SMPE installation. This role will be based onsite 2:1 roster
Your typical day will consist of:
- Supporting Construction Manager to manage overall schedule and technical queries.
- Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project, including labour, delivery of equipment and materials ensuring the civil contractor is resourced for the works.
- Responsible for package management, and scheduling.
- Overseeing a variety of Construction works and assisting in management of Civil works contractor day to day technical queries
- Review/preparing ITPs/FIRs
- Monitoring and controlling the construction schedule
- Follow up ( and liaise with logistics) on time delivery of the materials and equipment
- Preparing request for quotations, request for tenders, bids evaluations and purchase requisitions
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Engineering qualifications in Engineering (Civil , Mechanical , Electrical , Structural)*essential
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience particularly in the mineral resource or materials handling industries.
- Ability to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to produce and review contract packages.
- Familiarity with scheduling and project controls systems.
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights * you must reside in Australia to be considered and have either Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident
- Various high risk licences , ability to provide a clean National Police clearance along with the ability to pass a Medical and DAS
