Our client is a niche market leader in the Automotive component distribution market. They experiencing strong growth and looking to expand the finance team.

So we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the executive team. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of this organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee and lead all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, statutory reporting and transaction support.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Evaluate and optimise financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other members of the executive team to provide data-drive decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors and regulatory bodies.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a CFO in a mid-market company, either privately held or ASX listed.
  • Experience in managing equity capital raising and M&A transactions as a CFO
  • Experience as an auditor with a reputable accounting firm is an advantage
  • Experience in industrial or wholesale distribution business is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field; 
  • CA or CPA.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Advanced excel skills
  • Expert technical understanding of financial reporting
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Practical team and project management capability
  • Clear strategic vision
  • Adaptive to changes
  • Good sense of risk management
  • Technology savvy, i.e. accounting software and ERP systems 
  • Problem-solving skills
