Governance Advisor – Risk, Compliance & Business ContinuityDetails Published: 21 July 2023

This position will provide you an opportunity to play a vital role supporting democracy and the NSW Parliament by ensuring good governance practice across key areas through participating in the development, implementation, and delivery of functional and customer focused programs of work in the Governance Planning and Performance Unit (GPP).
The GPP responsibilities include governance practice areas including risk, compliance, customer experience and insights, procurement and contract management, the project management office, business continuity, insurance, corporate policy and programs, planning and evaluations.
Job role
- This role will be supporting the department’s review, implementation, and maintenance of the risk management & business continuity frameworks.
- Address risk, compliance, and business continuity issues through proactive processes.
- Support the implementation of governance best practices.
- Maintain compliance controls and advise on policy requirements.
- Promote effective governance through training and resource.
- Provide administrative support and coordination of the associated GPP committee meetings.
