You'll be responsible for- This role plays a key role in supporting the operational risk and compliance requirements of the Allianz Australia Finance Division, supporting the business with the development, execution and monitoring of remedial activity for operational loss /compliance incidents.
- Provide insights on root cause, identify actions to be implemented to prevent such losses in the future and ensure operational loss/compliance incidents are resolved in a timely manner.
- Facilitate risk identification and control assessment as part of key strategic projects and or business changes.
- After some advisor on risk and compliance matters and involvement of processes to manage risk and compliance in line with the current risk management framework.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and internal control performance to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the to strengthening the divisional risk culture through increasing awareness of Risk management and compliance.
- A Chartered Accounting qualification or substantial knowledge of finance is highly desirable. Significant experience in audit or risk and compliance management role for a complex, matrix general insurance/financial services organization.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgments and solutions.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills combined with a curious and creative mindset.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
