Contracts Administrator (High-End Residential Apartments) - Private Developer - Sydney

Aurex Group are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join a growing and high-performing development team to deliver the next stages of their diversified residential and mixed-use product in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore. The portfolio is in varying stages of delivery across projects, so there will be variety in work as well as long-term stability, as it is a well-funded group with solid pipeline already acquired.
About the Position:
The role will be based in the head office in North Sydney reporting directly to the Construction Director and Head of Development. Working with some fantastic development professionals, this role will expose the CA to project management and development management skills over time. Our client prides themselves on a unique and positive workplace environment where dedicated individuals can develop and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain contracts and subcontractor agreements, tenders and BOQ’s.
- Coordinating the negotiation of all contracts with internal and external partners.
- Reviewing and updating existing contracts and prepare all contracts for execution.
- Engaging subcontractors and obtaining commercial terms.
- Administrating subcontractor and client variation & EOT claims.
- Liaising closely with the Project Leadership team and development management personnel.
- Producing monthly financial reports including forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs.
- General commercial administration, document, and cost control.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience in Contract Administrator role delivering scale residential and mixed-use projects.
- Have a high level of personal motivation and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
